Steamroller Animation is a studio that created the animations for Fortnite, Dauntless, Mortal Kombat 11 and many more games. The company is planning on releasing its first game, and the development took seven years. Curse of the Deadwood (also known as Deadwood: The Forgotten Curse) is an action shooter with asymmetrical gameplay and a two-player local co-op. It’ll go to Steam and Steam Deck soon, and it looks great.

The game is based on the fantasy scene of Nottington. When an ancient spell is broken, a curse falls over the land. Deadwood are wild monsters made out of wood. The young Woodling named Lathe should stop them. He assembles himself with the mysterious Stones giant, Rogard. The story is achieved with a voice voice that voiced.

The main character is of any kind but unique in its character’s symbiotic and asymmetric nature. Lathe uses stone giants and fires are directed weapons; the giant is a complete defender of weapons. The two heroes work together to get there while fighting the Deadwood danger. Depending on Lathe’s range of weapons the upgrade tree looks very much better than combat.

The Deadwood coin supports two-player local co-op. It will soon release on Steam with full Steam Deck compatibility on Thursday, the 28th of July.
