SALARY: $22.55 to $30.22 per hour; plus 5% annual increases up to step 7, maximum initial salary step placement on the classified salary schedule is step 4. Part-time (50%, 20 hours per week) assignment, 12 months per year. Monday through Friday, between 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with evenings and weekends as required.

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are currently advertising for three (3) part-time, 50% (20 hours per week) categorically-funded Student Support Specialist positions. The three part-time positions will work primarily at Pajaro Valley Unified School District (PVUSD) locations to provide support services on site. These positions have secure funding for 3 years or until 6/30/2025 with the potential for on-going funding from other sources.

Student Support Specialist - Watsonville High School:

Student Support Specialist - Aptos High School:

POSITION OVERVIEW: These positions under general supervision, perform routine to complex administrative support in an assigned student services center or department; provide front-counter support to students; verify accuracy of enrollment forms and financial aid forms and assist students in correction/completion; schedule counseling appointments; perform and reconcile cashiering; assist with outreach and campus tours; assist with student employment and career research; create and maintain department-specific tracking systems, reports, records and files required for work processes; and perform related duties as assigned.

These positions will reduce barriers to enrollment and provide the following support to PVUSD students interested in attending Cabrillo College:
